Some revamped sketches of the Elders, after some suggestions from friends on how to make them look less like "cute lions", a description which made me want to instantly toss myself off a building for such epic failure.

So, I pushed the chest forward, slimmed the limbs and head, and gave them eyes like an eagle, while flattening out their feathers. So, I hope it yields some kind of...better result.

They are also now grey and white with yellow or orange eyes, for the most part.

In these fellows they are, by quite a bit, as is true of many non-mammal species (And some mammals besides hyenas, like baleen whales, rodents and so forth).

Wow, I love their faces. XD (And don't worry, I don't think they look like cute lions.) The anatomy is very realistic and believable.
