Charity the Goffin's Cockatoo Plush Toy by Jarahamee Charity the Goffin's Cockatoo Plush Toy by Jarahamee
Charity the Goffin's Cockatoo! She has pose-able wings (though they're in a folded position so all the feathers fit nicely), and a wired body, with anatomically accurate cockatoo feet!

My first bird, and I have to say I love the way she came out, I'm very happy with her!

Actually is an Umbrella... Goffins do not have black beaks, and have peach coloration around the beak area, not pure white. It is also lacking a crest, the most distinguishing feature of a cockatoo.. so to a parrot savvy person it looks like a pure white Eclectus, which, as far as we know today, is not realistically possible.

Hey Sandcharm. I'm Jara's friend, and I've seen the plush in real life. The beak is gray (not black) and there's some pink flush around the face and under the wings, just like the photo of real Charity. The picture quality above is not the greatest, in regards to expressing the colors 100% accurately. You can kind of see the pink in the third pic, though. By the way, though you assume that Jara is not "parrot savvy," he's actually a practicing veterinarian who treats birds. And yes, I made a deviantart account just to say this, because Jara is a great craftsman, and this is one of my fav. plushes. I wish you could see it in real life and appreciate all the colors and details.

Hello, this is actually somebody's pet they gave me pictures of. When I asked they said the only pink that she has is under her wings, and around her face (The lighting makes it hard to see). They said her crest was only up when she was angry usually.

Her beak is grey and it was glazed over with nail polish to make it hard. :)

I definitely clicked on your icon because your name makes me happy, but this is even more happy.

OK, so I thought this was a real cockatoo from the thumb! It's very clever how you did the feathers, I'm going to note that down for when I tackle an avian creation, lol. Nice job!

The thumb seems to do a good job fooling everyone! But I'm impressed it fooled you. I used a diagram of parrot wings to help me figure out the feathers.
